Nineteen Fifteen brings "Lord of the Dance in 3D" to cinemas in 2011

“Lord of the Dance” will step-dance its way onto the bigscreen next year, with creator and original star Michael Flatley appearing in a 3D movie version set for release on March 17 - St. Patrick’s Day.

“Lord of the Dance in 3D” incorporates new sets, lights, costumes and effects into the show, which preemed in Dublin in 1996. Stage version has grossed more than $1 billion in its various stints around the world and has been seen by some 60 million people.

Nineteen Fifteen are producing the film in association with ITN Productions. Vicki B and KIt Hawkins are producing with Marcus Viner directing.

The movie was filmed in London and Dublin last month.
